Who are we?
Since the announcement of Your Party, various regional and local groups have appeared across the country. They have dedicated their time to organsing strategy meetings, sign-up drives, collecting local people’s ideas, feedback and criticisms on policies and feelings around national and international politics, prepare to contribute to the various national conferences. Others other have worked together to set up more organised groups, pushing for potential local electoral candidates, community work and forming voting blocs for their areas in preparation for the national conference.
Our goal is to both encourage people to sign up for Your Party nationally as well as provide spaces for members in Norfolk to connect, organise, work out exactly what we want to see in the new party, what we can achieve locally to raise the parties profile and even potentially start contributing more to our communities through resource and skill sharing the potential is infinite.
This site and the group Your Norfolk Party is not a part of the national party and was set up by a collection of un-associated people, activists, workers etc. from a diverse array of areas and backgrounds as a way to concentrate members into places they can better organise and raise the people of Norfolk’s voices.
We do not speak for the national party nor do we speak for all the Norfolk members, only those who have joined this group, since starting many localities have set up their own groups and communication methods, something we highly encourage and may be able to assist with if technology is not your forte, completely separate from this organisation.
If there is anything you believe this group can be doing differently, anything you would like to suggest the organisation should pursue, anything that you would like clarification or information about, any part of the process you would like to be a part of, contact us at info@yournorfolkparty.uk.
In solidarity,
Your Norfolk Party
